    Gathering Structure

    Journey Youth's Monthly Wednesday Night

Journey Youth uses a monthly gathering structure that gives purpose to each Wednesday night in the month. Here is the structure:

    WEEK 1

    Encounter Nights or YTH Nights

Encounter Nights: The Youth Ministry joins our church on the first Wednesday of every month for Encounter Nights. Students and Leaders have an opportunity to engage in extended worship, a shortened message, and prayer. Pizza is provided.

On nights that we do not meet for Encounter night, we gather for a standard YTH Night.

    WEEK 2

    YTH Collective Nights

YTH Collective Nights are our big evangelistic night. Middle School and High School combines for teaching, and we begin a new series. These nights are evangelistic driven and will always include an altar call and pizza afterwards. Small groups do meet on these nights and aim to help connect new VIP guests to the ministry.

    WEEK 3 & 4

    YTH Nights

Middle School and High School combines for a time of worship, teaching, and small groups. Small groups do meet on these nights and aim to help connect new VIP guests to the ministry.

    WEEK 5

YTH Collective Worship Nights or Group Nights

    Common Questions

Dinner is provided at no cost at our Encounter Night and YTH Collective service. During the remaining Wednesdays, snacks and drinks are provided.

Youth Leadership is our High School and Middle School leadership track. These teams are for youth looking for intentional discipleship, ministry and serving opportunities, accountability and strong community.

We have connection groups for all students directly following service on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Wednesday of each month. These groups are gender and grade specific. (ie. 7th grade girls, or 11th grade boys) Each group is led by a vetted and background checked adult leader. We also include Freedom Groups every Fall and Spring Semester for 11th and 12th grade students. These groups are registration only groups and launch with our church-wide groups launch.

Students can serve in many different areas, including First Saturdays Serve, Kids ministry, and other Sunday morning Dream Teams. To begin the process of serving, attend our Discover Experience in the Discover Room directly after each Sunday service at both campuses! (Students can receive Community Service hours when they serve.)
