90 Day Tithe Challenge

When it comes to giving, many of us have a view that God wants so much FROM us. At Journey, we believe that God has so much FOR us through giving. When we hold so tightly to what we have, we are unable to take hold of what He wants to give us. That is why we are encouraging you to step into our 90 Day Tithe Challenge.

The Blessed Life

God wants you to live a life that is truly blessed, but what are the steps to getting there? Based on his best-selling book, Pastor Robert’s series, The Blessed Life, explores how living a generous life changes every area of your life.

Common Questions

Why do we do this?

We understand that trusting God with our finances can feel difficult at times. We also believe that we serve a generous God that is worth trusting. We offer the 90 Day Tithe Challenge as a risk-free way to help people take a step towards Him. The Scriptures say to “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” Our hope is that the 90 Day Tithe Challenge would allow people to taste the goodness of our God.

What is a tithe?

The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving. It’s called the Tithe, which means a tenth. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we make a decision to put God first in our lives. We give our first and our best back to God, believing that He will bless the rest. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, our faith, and our desire to live and love like Jesus.

What do you mean by blessing?

At Journey, we believe that any time we take a step towards God, He will show up. We also believe that God is incredibly generous. When we open up our hands in offering to God, we give him an opportunity to refill those same hands with His blessings. Although those blessings may not always be financial, they are always exactly what we need in the moment.
