1st Wednesdays:

8-10 times a year on the first Wednesday of the month, Journey Church participates in Encounter Night. This is a family service that focuses on worship, a topical message, and prayer. High School Students sit in the YTH Section in our Auditorium. Middle School Students sit in the YTH Section for worship and then release to our Lake Worth Venue for a message from our Middle School team. Food is provided on Encounter Nights at no cost for both Middle School and High School students.

2nd Wednesdays:

We come together as a collective Middle School and High School community to participate in The YTH Collective! The nature of this night is highly evangelistic and students are encouraged to invite a new friend. We also will begin a new sermon series that will take us into the month. Connection groups will still meet and will focus on connecting with new students and gearing up for the new series.

3rd & 4th Wednesdays:

Students will meet at our LW Campus for YTH Nights. Our Middle School and High School Ministries will meet for worship but separate for age appropriate teaching and connection groups. These nights will dive deep into the topic of the current sermon series. Middle School meets in the Venue from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. High School meets in the Main Auditorium from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Dinner is provided for $5.

5th Wednesdays:

Group Nights/The YTH Collective Worship Nights During the months that we have 5 Wednesdays, students will be encouraged to meet with their connection groups a Group Night OR we will meet on campus and participate in a YTH Collective Worship Night. These nights are TBD and will be communicated in advance to students and parents.

How do students get involved in groups?

We have connection groups for all students directly following service on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Wednesday of each month. These groups are gender and grade specific. (ie. 7th grade girls, or 11th grade boys) Each group is led by a vetted and background checked adult leader.

We also include Freedom Groups every Fall and Spring Semester for 11th and 12th grade students. These groups are registration only groups and launch with our church wide groups launch.
